WEN Therapy

A Space Where All Parts of

Your Identity are Welcomed

Living between worlds—cultural, relational, or within yourself—can feel isolating. But what if there was a space where you didn't have to explain yourself or hide pieces of who you are? I'm here to help you reclaim your story and reconnect with your strengths.

Let's start with a free 15-minute free consultation to see if we're a good fit.

Hi! I am WEN!

I'm Wenjing (WEN), a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in California. I graduated with my M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy from USC and hold a bachelor's degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

I work with individuals, couples, and families—primarily at Omeo Mental Health in San Diego, where I offer both in-person and online sessions throughout California. I also provide a limited number of remote sessions to clients in China through Inward Mental Health.

A lush garden scene with a green-roofed Chinese pavilion surrounded by colorful flowering trees and dense green foliage.
Portrait of an Asian woman with short black hair in a blue turtleneck sweater, smiling, against a plain white background.
A university campus building with archway entrance, palm trees, and students walking by on a sunny day.
A woman wearing a black face mask and sunglasses on her head is holding a handwritten sign at a street protest. The sign reads 'PROTECT OUR MOTHERS, FATHERS, GRANDMAS, GRANDPAS' with some words written in Chinese characters. The street is decorated with colorful chalk drawings and messages.

Communities I'm Passionate About

Colorful surfboards leaning against a tree surrounded by tropical plants, with a small sign in front that reads 'Kukui Nuts, Coconut Baskets, Lava Hal Bracelets'.

All Shades of APPI

I work with Asian and AAPI individuals navigating cultural identity, immigration stress, intergenerational conflict, and the pressure of living between East and West. As someone who immigrated from China and has lived across multiple cultures, I understand the isolation of feeling "too Asian" in one context and "not Asian enough" in another. I also speak Mandarin and Catonese if that makes therapy easier for you!

Our Sex-positive Tribe

I provide affirming therapy for LGBTQ+ individuals, couples in CNM/ENM relationships, and anyone exploring sexuality and relationship structures outside traditional norms. My training in culturally sensitive and trauma-informed care and my own lived experiences mean I approach your identity and relationships with genuine celebration—because everyone deserves a therapist who not just tolerates it, but truly gets it, and celebrates it!

My Method:

You Are Not the Problem—The Problem Is the Problem

I specialize in Narrative Therapy, a creative approach that transforms problem-saturated stories into more enriched, balanced, and appreciative lives. Many struggles come from external messages about who you "should" be. Together, we'll separate you from these problems and explore the hidden strength, wisdom, peace, and warmth in you.

I also integrate other evidence-based approach such as ACT, CBT, and EFT according to your unique needs.
